Reconstructing spirituality

A Series

Dear Reader, there comes a moment in every journey when the foundation we once stood on begins to shift—sometimes gently, like waves reshaping the shore, and other times like an earthquake, cracking everything open. This is especially true when it comes to spirituality.

For many, spirituality is inherited through tradition and often intertwined with a specific religious belief system, varying across cultures. It serves as a crutch when we struggle to bear our own weight.

Spirituality has always played a major role in my life—I once believed Christianity was the sole spiritual path, the foundation guiding my moral compass. However, my understanding of spirituality has evolved over the years. I came to see that truly living is the embodiment of a spiritual experience, not just adherence to orthodox rituals within organized religious institutions. I realized that spirituality extends beyond religion, and if life itself is spiritual, then my approach should be to experience it through a spiritual lens.

In this series, we’ll explore the concept of spirituality from a philosophical perspective, delving into various belief systems and practices. I’ll also share how my understanding of spirituality has evolved and the experiences that have shaped these shifts.

All Connected…

As human beings, we are filled with questions, yet the answers often defy simple explanations. We all crave something to believe in—something greater than ourselves. We recognize the existence of an unseen vastness beyond our understanding. We sense it, feel it through vibrations and energy, and, in some ways, interact with it every day. It’s present in how we think, how we live, and even in our very breath. This realization sparked my journey of seeking, and I discovered that to connect with what we believe exists outside of ourselves, we must first go within.

People spend years searching for purpose or trying to answer a calling. I, for one, am always open to discovering truths that resonate deeply with my existence, breaking free from perceived limitations, and crafting my own narrative—one that reflects my evolving philosophy.
